Project Description

Jeff Maass was a man on a mission. Two years ago Jeff had become fed-up with the quality of his real estate website and went looking for a solution. As broker/co-owner of Regency Real Estate Brokers, a world-class firm in South Orange County, CA, Jeff wanted to make sure he was well-represented and well-placed in the real estate cyberspace that is so critical in today’s market.

“As I looked at the various real estate websites in the market, I was really disappointed,” Maass recalled. “That is, until I came across this new web product from I was stunned. This little $99 website offered everything I was looking for. It was ready to go out of the box. It was easy to customize to fit my needs. It had all the tools necessary for a successful, on-the-go agent. And most importantly, it had a great customer service program.”

After spending some time with his site, Maass came to a realization. He had solved his issue, but what he had found was much more than just a personal website. He had found a tool that he could use on multiple levels.

As a power player in the highly competitive Southern California marketplace, Jeff takes a slightly different approach than some other firms. He is in the business of empowering his company of 175 agents, 90% of whom have more than 15 years of experience. Maass himself has more than 25 years in the business as a full service broker working with buyers, sellers and investors.

During that period, he has represented over 650 clients and sold over 850 properties while helping to oversee a rapidly growing real estate company. And, he has seen his share of “can’t miss” software products and SEO schemes come and go. Over the years, Jeff has spent thousands of dollars on “custom” websites that offered little when it came to return on investment. So when Jeff found, he wondered if it was “Too Good to be True.”

But it wasn’t. And, it turned out to be much more than just a solution to his personal website issues. could also play a key role in enhancing nearly every aspect of agent productivity and the office’s recruiting and retention efforts.

The value I saw is simply incredible. I was blown away,” Maass said. “It became obviously to me very quickly that I needed to get this product into the hands of as many of our agents as possible. It was a no-brainer.

In fact, Maass was so satisfied with his own personal experience with that he and his partners decided to offer the websites free of charge to every agent in his office as part of its agent incentive program.

“Every new and existing agent is provided with the basic site with all of the features and then a short course from our technology department,” Maass said. “Then they are ready to go. With access to WebsiteBox’s live online customer support, agents typically get up to speed very quickly, and are on-line within days. I would say that 70% of our existing agents are currently using the website.”

With, the company is increasing productivity while cutting costs and getting incredible market penetration.

Every website comes with ready-to-publish content, is search engine optimized and is customizable by specialty. Each site incorporates responsive design for mobile-friendly performance, lead capture and customer relationship management capabilities in an all-in-one control panel, a branded email address, 24/7 website hosting and full Internet Data Exchange (IDX) search integration.

The price point is fantastic. At $99 our agents can afford to purchase additional/multiple sites to really increase the penetration of our niche markets. It allows us to be in front of the greatest number of potential clients at the lowest price per impression.

The results are impressive. The independent office, made up of over 175 Agents and Brokers, is ranked number one in total sales in the majority of cities in the highly competitive upscale market of South Orange County.

“Our company is very agent-centric,” Maass said. “In the end, all we want is for our agents to be successful and well represented in their communities. is a big part of how we do that.”
